Custom Stickers for Business: Labels, Packaging and Branding
More than just a sticker
Stickers are one of the most versatile print products a business can order. They seal packaging, label products, brand envelopes, decorate shop windows, and turn laptops and water bottles into walking advertisements. The cost per unit is low, and the applications are almost endless.
Our custom stickers are printed on high-quality vinyl or paper stock with a range of finishes to suit different uses.
Common business uses
Product labelling
If you sell physical products, whether food, cosmetics, candles, or crafts, a custom label is often your primary branding touchpoint. It is the first thing a customer sees and handles. A well-printed label on quality stock immediately elevates how a product is perceived.
Packaging seals
A branded sticker sealing a box, bag, or tissue paper adds a professional touch to every order. E-commerce businesses, subscription boxes, and gift retailers all use this approach. It costs pennies per unit and makes the unboxing experience feel intentional.
Promotional giveaways
Stickers are cheap enough to give away freely. Include one in every order, hand them out at events, or leave a stack on your counter. Customers stick them on laptops, phone cases, notebooks, and water bottles, giving your brand visibility wherever they go.
Window and floor graphics
Larger stickers and vinyl decals work for window displays, floor directional signage, and wall branding in retail and hospitality spaces. These are typically printed on removable adhesive so they can be updated seasonally without damaging surfaces.
Choosing the right finish
Gloss: Vibrant colours, shiny surface. Good for bold designs and product labels that need to catch the eye.
Matt: Softer, more understated finish. Popular with premium and artisan brands. Feels more tactile and less "sticker-like" on packaging.
Clear: Transparent background with your design printed on top. Creates a "no-label" look where the design appears printed directly onto the surface. Works especially well on glass bottles, jars, and clear packaging.
Shapes and sizes
Standard shapes include circles, squares, rectangles, and ovals. For something more distinctive, die-cut stickers follow the outline of your design, creating a custom shape unique to your brand.
Size depends on the application. Product labels need to fit the product. Packaging seals are typically 30mm to 50mm circles. Promotional stickers can be whatever size makes sense for the design, but 50mm to 80mm is a popular range for giveaways.
Ordering tips
- Order in bulk. Stickers get dramatically cheaper per unit at higher quantities. If you use them regularly, order a large batch rather than multiple small runs.
- Think about surface. Where will the sticker be applied? Curved surfaces (bottles, jars) need flexible vinyl. Flat surfaces (boxes, envelopes) work fine with paper stock.
- Check your colours. Make sure your artwork is in CMYK, not RGB. Our guide on CMYK vs RGB explains why this matters.
- Include bleed. Even on stickers, add 2mm to 3mm of bleed beyond the cut line to avoid white edges.
Stickers pair well with other print products. A branded sticker on a paper bag or sealing a package of business cards ties your branding together across every customer touchpoint.
